I make individual thrown stoneware forms which i then freely manipulate some are alterered others have added incised marks applied to the soft clay that reveals a subtle and tactile quality to the work, carrying a sense of captured movement.

I use textured clays that contains all their natural impurities which also adds an element of unpredactibility to the surface effect I love the way the streaks and specks produced when fired flow and scatter randomly interacts with the slip and glaze layers achieved from reduction firings.

I graduated in Ceramics at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts

and studied under Potters Teachers, Ian Auld, Colin Pearson Ewen

Anderson and Janice Tchalenko whom i assisted in her studio.

I also assisted the Potter Eric Stockl.
